Template:Cleanup Template:Header Nav Planets are NPC structures that are found throughout the Pardus universe. They require upkeep, and in return, produce commodities. Like starbases, the amount of commodities produced is determined by the number of workers and if the upkeep is supplied. There are 6 different types of planets, with different upkeep and production. In the production and upkeep charts, the numbers are for every 1000 workers. The actual production and upkeep depends on the number of workers.

Class MEdit

Planet M
Upkeep
  • 7.5 energy
Production
  • 3.5 food
  • 4.5 water

Class M planets rely on a steady supply of energy and produce food and water. They are usually the planet part of a FWE run because they use the starbases energy and produce the food and water that it needs. It is a popular place to have buildings around, since the planet provides the food and water that it requires and let nebula plants or starbases take care of the energy.

Class IEdit

Planet i
Upkeep
  • 7.5 energy
Production
  • 8 water
  • 0.1 embryos

Class I planets like class M planets rely on a steady source of energy, but only produce water and a small amount of embryos. They are slightly more efficient than class M planets however and make embryos for space farms. Because it doesn't produce food, building here is slightly less favorable.

Class AEdit

Planet a
Upkeep
  • 12.5 energy
Production
  • 10 food
  • 10 water

Class A planets are similar to class M planets but are much more efficient and produce more food. These are only found in the Pardus cluster, and are a very popular choice for FWE because of the starbases role in the wars.

Class REdit

Planet r
Upkeep
  • 2.5 food
  • 2 water
  • 4 energy
Production
  • 1.5 ore
  • 0.5 metal
  • 1 embryos
  • 0.1 radioactive cell

Class R planets are not incredibly popular and easy to sustain because they require FWE and produce mostly building materials and embryos. The planet is hard to sustain because it's production can't help sustain the buildings around it except space farms. It needs to have it's own source of FWE and it's output is somewhat hard to incorporate into an economy.

Class GEdit

Planet g
Upkeep
  • 1.5 food
  • 2.5 energy
Production
  • 5 nebula gas
  • 0.5 chemicals
  • 0.75 embryos

Class G planets are also not incredibly popular, although they are more popular than class R planets. They require food and energy, taking water off the list, and produce nebula gas, embryos, and chemicals, making for a good space farms and recyclotron setup.

Class DEdit

Planet d
Upkeep
  • 2.5 water
  • 0.5 gemstones
Production
  • 0.15 slaves

Class D planets are the least popular of them all, requiring water and gemstones much needed for handweapons and producing slaves. As drug stations and dark domes are usually destroyed by roleplayers if not protected in a nook, their production is almost worthless.
