Planets are NPC structures that are found throughout the Pardus universe. They require upkeep, and in return, produce commodities. Like starbases, the amount of commodities produced is dependent upon the number of workers and the amount of upkeep supplied. There are six different types of planets, with different upkeep and production.

Note: The values given are per 1000 population. The actual values will always be proportionate to these values.

Class MEdit

Upkeep
  • 7.5 energy
    Planet M

    Class M Planet

Production
  • 3.5 food
  • 4.5 water

Class M planets rely on a steady supply of energy and produce food and water. They are highly coveted by starbase owners as it provides an easy sink for their energy and provides both food and water. Managing prices on these planets is a tricky and difficult process however.

Class IEdit

Upkeep
  • 7.5 energy
Production
  • 8 water
  • 0.1 embryos

Class I planets rely on a steady source of energy much like class M planets, but only produce water and a small amount of embryos. Water source is almost never a problem with these planets, but food will have to be obtained elsewhere.

Class AEdit

Upkeep
  • 12.5 energy
Production
  • 10 food
  • 10 water

Class A planets are quite similar to class M planets but consume much more energy and produce food and water at a much higher and efficient rate. Prices on these planets are simply not a problem and even recover from economic sabotage at a strong steady rate.

Class REdit

Upkeep
  • 2.5 food
  • 2 water
  • 4 energy
Production
  • 1.5 ore
  • 0.5 metal
  • 1 embryos
  • 0.1 radioactive cell

Class R planets are not incredibly popular and easy to sustain because they require FWE and produce mostly building materials and embryos. The planet is hard to sustain because its production doesn't help sustain many buildings and is a massive sinkhole for food water and energy.

Class GEdit

Upkeep
  • 1.5 food
  • 2.5 energy
Production
  • 5 nebula gas
  • 0.5 chemicals
  • 0.75 embryos

Class G planets are also not incredibly popular for many of the same reasons as class R planets, but since they produce materials that are needed far lower on the production chain than metal and radioactive cells, they are often used to support breweries medlabs, space farms, and recyclotrons.

Class DEdit

Upkeep
  • 2.5 water
  • 0.5 gemstones
Production
  • 0.15 slaves

Class D planets are the least popular of them all, requiring water and gemstones much needed for handweapons and only producing slaves. As drug stations and dark domes are usually destroyed by roleplayers if not protected in a nook, their production is almost worthless without considerable investment in securing a good source of gemstones and bring slaves back safely.
